I've been having a bit of fun today and wanted to share with you how to make these cute bookmarks. Seeing as we are a family of avid readers, bookmarks are always in use and these will be perfect. The bookmarks are folded in half with magnets inside so they stick together when you slip them over a page. No more lost bookmarks or bookmarks that fall out of the book when you pick it up the wrong way...lol.
Freebie today is another QP from my layout for the Out My Window Challenge over at SDK. Basically you scrap the same person, place or thing each month. This will be so much fun to see the changes throughout the year as I scrap what is happening in our garden and around the house!

30years for Hubby and me this year! I am so lucky to have married such a wonderful guy, some days I have to pinch myself. As we spend Mondays together, this is an extra special Valentine. So far I've had breakfast cooked for me, I know he has planned lunch and dinner too plus these beautiful flowers are gracing our dinner table...
Oh and it is also Ivy Day the day, we have our darling granddaughter. Does it get any better than this ^.^
While trying to think of a sweet treat to give Hubby for valentine's this year, I received a catalogue advertising mini heart shaped baking trays. So I trotted off to the shops this morning to pick one up and made these...
Mini heart shaped chocolate cakes with mocha icing and walnuts, Hubbies favorites! Can't wait to surprise him tomorrow with these :)
Middle of the week is here...how I love this day, it means only one more day in my working week, YAY!
Freebie this week is another QP from this layout of my darling Granddaughter, with Mummy and Blossom. This was the second time we had lunch together, I must say I am looking forward to doing this monthly :)

Hubby is away doing stocktake, which means horror of horrors I have to cook myself dinner ^.^ Oh what to have??? I really hate having to decide what to have for dinners, I am so over cooking...lol. Now I could have the Pumpkin Soup I made for dinner last night or a sandwich using the Lamb that was slow cooked on Sunday or there is some Chicken in the fridge. Maybe I will wait until I'm really hungry and see what looks good when I open the fridge door...hahahaha!
Well until that time I guess I will just keep playing in photoshop, I'm working on a couple of things I hope to have finished by the end of the month. ooOoo now might be a good time to remind you that you could get my last collection 'YOU + ME' for free! See this post Sunday Treat Giveaway for details but hurry the giveaway closes Midnight Wednesday 9th (AEST) or 8am (EST).
I'm getting old that is...lol. I have glasses for long distance vision, not very strong and the prescription hasn't change since I first got them ten years ago. But...
...for a couple of months now I've had trouble reading the labels on the backs of food cans and packets. At first I put it down to poor lighting, then wondered if the size of writing on the labels had changed...hehehe. So, I took myself off to the optometrist today. The good news is my long distance vision still hasn't changed...YAY. The bad news is that the writing on food labels hasn't changed size either, yep I need glasses for reading o_O. Oh but what frames to buy, there was a dilemma in itself...hahahaha. I'll take a photo when I get them and you can tell me what you think :)
I'm still working on a Valentine's Day card for my beloved :) it has been such a lovely day today I was very motivated to get into my craftroom. Shame I didn't get in there until 4pm, but better late than never hey! Now that dinner is finished and dishes done, Hubby has toddled off to play army men with bloke which means I have the night to myself. Hmmm... I think I will spend the night making cards
