Warning Photo overloaded post...lol!
So far so good... I am really enjoying the process of putting together a month at a time as opposed to a week at a time. The Momento app really has been awesome to use and the pages are coming together quickly. Here are the first few pages...
OK not bad but I was not entirely happy with the way the pages were looking. The pages above were what did it... the left is ok but I love the right more. I like the square photos better and a border helps to lift them off the background. Check: square photos and white borders!
As I am doing a 6x8 album, there is not a lot of room for journaling and not every photo I take has journaling to go with it... soooo I will utilise the 6x4 pockets for journaling a couple of days at a time, as well as the odd 3x4.
And then some weeks I may just make a half page divider insert to hold all the journaling...lol!
The month of January was a good learning curve and I'm eager to start the month of February making a few changes as I go. I reckon it will June before I find my style and I'm ok with that... this is the first year of paper for me, so I'm being very forgiving and not worrying too much that the pages are not perfect. This is real life after all *wink*
